Description:
My site consists mostly of YSR racing. Although not really my favorite thing to do, it IS a lot of fun. I am regarded as one of the top people in the US when it comes to YSRs. My YSR50/YZ400F/453cc (444cc piston and 1.2mm stroked crank) bike has been in several magazines, raced against Supermotards, dragraced, and road raced for 5 years now and is still a blast to ride.
My other bikes include some very rare and distiguished machines from other manufacturers than just Yamaha. The original Kawasaki Ninja 900 is one. I loved this bike when I first seen it. It's a classic in my eyes. I also have a Turbo Seca that has nearly 250,000 miles on it and is still using the original turbo charger. There are several others.
My FZ has been through many transformations over the years and is undergoing another change now. It is currently undergoing an engine transformation from 1040cc to 1125cc, using a custom made stroked crankshaft. I am using EXUP style 1000 crankcases. I'm currently dialing in the jetting and mapping a new ignition box for it. I'm expecting right at 200 RWHP from this engine. It has been tested at nearly 170 RWHP w/o nitrous and on 93 octane fuel.
My job gives me access to a lot of good equipment when it comes to testing. I am a R&D Specialist by trade and have done this Job in the past for Yamaha Motor Corp, USA for 13 years along with owning my own Yamaha Franchise store, selling PWC, Boats, Snowmobiles and ATVs.
I built and raced motorcycles at an Expert level while working for Yamaha. My bikes have won 15 AMA/CCS Regional Championships. And I have earned 2 AMA/CCS National #1 plates in the Unlimited Superbike class. Two Track Lap Records, one that stood for 10 years before being broken, it took a resurfaced track and a well ridden R1 to break it.
I have a vast amount of knowledge on how engines work. Technically speaking, I'm very solid and can figure most problems out given enough information.
Thanks Arch for the link to this great site!
